I have used Stereotax (Stereotax Cream) for the first time on a cold sore. The treatment lasted for 4 days and left pain as mild as four days for healing to be totally gone. The patient was treated with the cold sore cream, applied five times daily for 4 days and pain reduced significantly when healing began. Patient is taking aciclovir 5%, Herp med by Stereotax Cream. Has no adverse events. Doctor has advised that the cream be used only for 5 days and the treatment be stopped. Patient is in good health and has been no sting to any of the cream's ingredients. Doctor has said that this cream does not have the same clinical effects as a cold sore cream. It does not cure the infection and does not prevent it from coming back.
